The 8-Dot Braille Code Project was set up in 1995 to investigate the relevance of the various 8-dot braille codes (mainly used for technical material such as computing) to English-language braille, and to encourage standardization of these codes.
This committee is currently inactive, and the associated email listserv has been discontinued.
